On the afternoon of November 9, the Sheriff’s Office contacted the Team concerning a hiker who had become confused about his location. A Sheriff’s Deputy responded and was able to make voice contact, but wasn’t sure he would be able to extract the hiker. A limited team callout was initiated, but was cancelled prior to the Team’s arrival at the trailhead, as the hiker was able to exit unassisted.
